Alacati Marina is located in an inlet of the Aegean Sea at the Turkish coast on the Cesme peninsula in the catchment area of Izmir (80 km.)
Because of its consistent northerly winds in the summer, the bay is a paradise for surfers; the whole region is a paradise for sailors, just the North-Route to Ayvalik, including the Greek islands of Lesbos and Chios.
Three kilometres further inland joins the village of Alacati, well known for its stone houses and the incomparable charm of an historic fishing village.
Alacati, but also the immediately adjacent villages Ilica, Cesme and Dalyanköy offer their guests noumerous restaurants, cafes and shops. In addition, of course, all facilities of a modern holiday region are available. The airport of Izmir is located just 45 min. away.
Every Saturday a large weekly market.
The historic town of Cesme will be reached by minibus in 20 min. The old caravanserai, the castle and a museum make a visit here worthwhile.
The works on the new marina of Cesme are still in progress but it should be ready in June or July.
Port Alacati Marina offers all facilities and services which you expect from a modern marina, i.e. dinghy-sercice, clean toilets and showers, water and electricity at the pontoon, Internet.
