Bodrum/Turgutreis
Turgutreis is an in the last few years emerging village on the west side of the
Bodrum - peninsula.
Turgutreis has excellent shopping facilities. A bazaar in the old town near the fishing port is ideal for strolling. Tansas and BIM (supermarkets) just opposite the marina. Furthermore, supermarket and shops in the Marina.
Very nice is also a dinner in one of the numerous restaurants along the waterfront with a wonderful view over the islands in the sunset.
D - Marin Turgutreis is one of the most modern marinas in Turkey, even in the entire Mediterranean, with all the amenities which a modern marina can offer i.e. pool, shops, restaurants, internet, fuel-station etc. Our boats are located at the A - pontoon opposite the fuel-station.
Indeed, this marina is the best starting point for cruises into the Greek islands at the front door, into the Gökova - Gulf or Hisarönü - Gulf.
Bodrum also has an airport only 45 min. away from the marina.
Approximately 1.5 nautical miles off the marina entrance the island Catalada is located with a very nice anchorage.
